The phase decomposition was successfully performed by splitting pixel brightness into two vectors with random phases. The two encrypted images have constant amplitude and purely random phase, so that no one could see existence of the image. The hidden image was recovered by superposing and interfering with the two encrypted images. The decrypted image was exactly the same as the original with no noise. Our technique was applicable not only to binary images but also to grayscale images. We confirmed our technique by the computer simulation.

The phase decomposition was successfully performed by retarding or progressing the random phase along the pixel brightness information of the image that should be encrypted. The obtained images that were encrypted were purely random phase images with constant amplitude, so that no one could see the meaning of the image. The hidden image could be recovered only by the interferometric technique. The decrypted image was exactly the same image as the original one without any noise. Our technique can be applied not only to binary images but also to grayscale images. We confirmed our technique in the computer simulation.

Segmentation and binarization of the speckle pattern was performed for making one share embedding secret image. Reconstruction of the secret image was successfully achieved by the product between the share and the original speckle pattern.
