電子・情報デバイスの高性能化・高信頼化を目的とした材料科学的研究をおこなっている。特に、次世代ULSI用Cu配線材料の高性能化・高信頼化技術、実装技術用の金属の界面構造と信頼性・性能との関係について研究している。
