Subject of research

  1. Development of simulation code for solid oxide fuel cell In the case of developing solid oxide fuel cell (SOFC) generally, it is extremely useful to develop the simulation code of the SOFC. In addition, some basic performances under several operating conditions should be obtained by numerical simulation. Considering this point, some simulation codes of various type SOFC (i.e. planar type, intermediate-temperature disk type) have been uniquely developed and the dependence of basic performances on various operating condition has been investigated by using the developed simulation code.
  2. Investigation on degradation of lithium-ion secondary battery by pulse charge and discharge cycles considering internal equivalent circuit Lithium-ion secondary battery deteriorates by means of many repeated pulse charge and discharge cycles. Considering above phenomena, the author is investigating how to change of the internal equivalent circuit of the battery by a method of determining the internal equivalent circuit through the measurement data of the a. c. impedance.
